Then we'd love to hear from you! We are looking for a new Software Platform Architect for automotive performance controller to support our team. We prototype new automotive standards for the cars of tomorrow. For our Performance Controller Program we look for professionals that share the vision to personally shape the future car software platform architecture - to pave the way towards autonomous driving.
What you do
As a Software Platform Architect (m/w/d) you interface with experts in all design areas of automotive E/E software solutions.
You are dealing with highly dependable automotive E/E software systems on multi-controller hardware architectures and you design automotive software solutions derived from customer requirements and EB's software product roadmap.
You base your concept design on latest SOC technology considering available on-chip features as well as performance, security and functional safety requirements.
It is part of your responsibility to deal with software platform functions like system health monitoring, over the air update, car diagnostic, automotive ethernet, service-oriented communication.
You perform thread analysis and risk assessments to ensure the cyber security of the designed system.
In addition, you identify hazards which impact functional safety and propose respective architectural measures.
What you bring
Essential Qualifications
You have several years of experience in embedded software development in a larger team (and some experience as a role architect).
You have experience in usage of software system modelling tools (e. g. Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, ...).
Your professional experience in at least one of the following industries: Automotive, Telecommunications, Avionics, Medical, Industrial Automation convince us.
Your profile is completed by a profound understanding of embedded CPUs (e.g. ARM Cortex-A), operating systems (e.g. Linux, QNX) and embedded software architectures.
You have an autonomous and analytic working style and team player capabilities.
Learnable skills
You ideally have profound knowledge of relevant design process standards (e. g. Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262).
Your experience with (Classic-/Adaptive-) AUTOSAR is a plus.
You have good communication skills. English language is a must, German is a plus.
