Job Description

For the development of our radar sensor technology, we are looking for a System Engineer Radar (m/f/diverse) at our location in Lindau or Riemerling. As System Engineer (m/f/diverse) you are responsible to specify and design ADAS products. You are responsible for the product definition during quote phase, the product specification and the product maturity during product lifecycle. The System Engineer (m/f/diverse) works in the interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to understand and describe the various levels of requirements, the viable technologies and anticipated development. The System Engineer (m/f/diverse) has to align his development with the product system levels above and below. Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

Analyze customer needs and define the optimum system solution for the customer according to the ADAS roadmap Creation of system requirement specification based on system requirements, standards, laws (according to internal processes) Alignment of implementation of architectural key functions in the interfaces of L1/L2 and L2/L3 with hardware, mechanical and software engineers Responsible for the generic and customized product specification (TPS) Define system architecture for radar systems (derived from base project Technical responsibility for system FMEA, DRBFM, FTA (based on project scope) Analyze system, system components and interfaces to detect and eliminate weaknesses by team work Ensure a worldwide interdisciplinary teamwork collaboration (Jira, Confluence, agile work) Supervise the performance and technical quality of deliverables from suppliers and development partners Create production test specification and support bring-ups and the conceptional design of serial production line and launch Ensure a proper technical product documentation and perform product presentations

Job Requirements

Academic degree in electronics, electrotechnics, telecommunication or comparable qualification Professional experience with system architecture design, requirement engineering (DOORS, Rhapsody) and technical documentation Sound experience with the development of radar sensor, radar technology and radar signal processing Sound experience with the product development processes in the automotive industry Very good German and English language skills written and spoken Interdisciplinary technical competency, ability to analyze and solve technical problems Very good communication skills as well as customer- and quality orientation
