For our segment Passive Safety and Sensorics (PSS) within our business area Safety and Motion, we are searching for an ASIC Project Manager (m/f/diverse) to strengthen our ASIC development team at our location in Regensburg. In cooperation with semiconductor suppliers / companies, you will be developing customized ICs for airbag applications in a global environment. In this role, you can expect the following main tasks:

Management and coordination of ASIC development projects in the field of airbag applications from the requirements phase until series production

Responsibility for defining and meeting technical requirements (internal and customers), commercial goals, quality and process standards and schedules

Alignment with various departments and stakeholders during our development (purchasing, quality, system engineering, platform, customer teams, etc.) in a multinational environment

Alignment, planning and documentation of meetings and actions between Continental and our suppliers

Continuous tracking of supplier's progress and work packages and coordination of Continental's tasks within the project team

Problem solving, risk and change management

Regular reporting of project status and initiation of escalations to management

Anforderungen

Academic degree in electrical engineering or similar qualification Experience in project management Automotive experience Knowledge of semiconductor- and circuit technology beneficial Fluent English and German language skills written and spoken in technical environment Structured working style Good communication skills Good problem-solving skills Intercultural competence (team setup with japanese, US- and european suppliers)
