As Advance Sourcing Leader you will take a crucial part of our Supply Chain Management Team and will be defining and developing Strategic Partnerships with key Semiconductor Partners, develop new suppliers to support future technology requirements and initiating frontloading activities of Advanced Sourcing.
Define and Develop Strategic Partnerships with key Semiconductor Partners
Develop new suppliers to support future technology requirements
Develop and maintain requirements document capturing best practices and lessons learned
Identification of gaps in supplier panel and / or high risk components (i.e. technology assessments at semiconductor suppliers / layout and design reviews)
Initiating of frontloading activities e.g. development of robust component specifications (maturity check), supplier selection (feasibility check), risk evaluation and mitigation
Support development agreements and Flow 2 sourcing for critical components
Align Supplier Roadmap alignment to our problem statements
Work with Core Development, Supply Chain and Advanced Technology teams to ensure challenges for future component technologies and roadmaps are met in our Supplier Development programs
Support strategic technical activities with internal and external partners to ensure cost, quality and supply chain resilience on selected semiconductors
Relationship interface to foundry business and backend companies
Participation in feasibility study and spec definition
Monitor Semiconductor market and maintain updated supplier roadmaps and market overview
Support internal Knowledge Management and developing and teaching courses in process/technology
Cost Management, Should Cost and Design to Cost
Ihr Profil
Qualified candidates will have sourcing experience in one or more of the following areas:
Computing: Brain of Mobility - System On Chip [SOC], -Performance Processors
Sensing: Vision, Radar and Lidar
Communication: 5G, Wireless Communication, Ethernet
Power Management: PMIC, VR, Power Supply - the total Power architecture
Successfully completed studies (Bachelor and/or Master Degree) in economics, industrial engineering or sciences
5+ years' experience in Semiconductor Business (preferably within the automotive or semiconductor sector)
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
High degree of resilience and commitment as well as an independent, self-reliant and solution oriented way of working and an entrepreneurial way of thinking
